Get Help Scheduling Your Vaccination - Call 2-1-1

Older adults over the age of 65 can get assistance scheduling their vaccination appointments by calling 2-1-1. When calling it is important to have your name, date of birth, phone number, and email address if you have one, ready to go. 

Here is the process: 

• Dial 2-1-1
• You will be connected to the Iowa 2-1-1 hotline.
• Press 1 to continued 
• Press 9 to be connected to a vaccine navigator

You may have to wait on the line, there are about 75 vaccine navigators working to help get older Iowans scheduled.  The navigator will work to get you scheduled at a HyVee nearest to you. As a note, you will not be able to choose which vaccine you will receive. It will depend on what is available at the HyVee nearest you.
