SMP National Resource Center Program Coordinator

Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) National Resource Center is seeking applicants for the position of Program Coordinator. This position will work in an ever-changing team environment, where collaboration, feedback, and the ability to learn new tasks are valued.

The person in this position will assist NEI3A’s Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) National Resource Center with a variety of tasks, including management of the national SMP toll-free line, the national info@ coordination, and assistance in the creation of network material/resources. This includes assisting with creating and editing detailed training/outreach materials, handling online systems, and providing technical office support. This position will also have the responsibility to coordinate efforts with tracking reports, managing national contact lists, managing the password-protected resources on the national website, and performing tasks that support the SMP Resource Center overall.

Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong customer service skills, computer skills, editing skills, and the ability to pay strong attention to detail. Must also have strong project management skills and be able to work independently.

COVID-19 considerations:

This position will begin as a teleworking position, then as conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic allow will transition to an office position. The office is located at 3840 W. 9th Street, Waterloo, IA
