Marshalltown Update

On July 19, the Marshall County Senior Center sustain major damage from tornadoes.

On Thursday, July 19, several seniors experienced the wrath of the tornadoes that suddenly struck the Marshalltown community, destroying their senior center. The center provides hot, nutritious meals; a gathering place for seniors to meet with friends and feel connected to the community; and access to resources for seniors in need. Fortunately, no seniors or staff were injured.  However, the building sustained extensive damage. At this time we are evaluating our options to relocate this valuable resource for the community.

UPDATE (7/31/18): The Marshalltown Senior Center will begin offering meals on wheels starting Wednesday, August 1.  To order a meal please call 641-752-1638. At this time, we are still looking for a location to offer congregate meals. We will provide and update as soon as we know more. Thank you for your patience and support!
