Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging Plans Annual Meeting and Community Forums

posted 10/2/2017 in Press Releases

According to the Iowa Department on Aging 16.1% of Iowa’s population are over the age of 65.  Projections for the state show this percentage will continue to increase, which will also increase the need for community supports and services for the elderly, people with disabilities and caregivers.

Over the past year, Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging (NEI3A) has worked to provide services and supports to help empower people with choices to help them stay in their homes and communities.  NEI3A would like to share its accomplishments and gather public ideas and input at its Annual Meeting being held on Wednesday, October 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
