NEI3A has resumed delivering hot, daily meals. Over the next few months, senior centers will begin opening. Below is a list of centers that are currently open.

Proper nutrition is an important part of staying healthy!  Nutritious meals are available throughout Northeast Iowa.  All menus are written and approved by a dietician and provide one-third of the recommended daily allowance.

Meals through Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging are offered on a contribution basis for people over 60 years of age.  The actual cost for the meal is $8.10.  People under 60 must pay the actual cost.

Buchanan County Senior Center
400 5th Ave. NE - Independence
Open Monday through Friday - Meals at 12:00 noon

Cedar Falls Senior Center
528 Main Street, Cedar Falls
Open for activities - congregate meals beginning in August.
Monday 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Chickasaw Event Center
301 N. Water St. - New Hampton
Open Monday through Friday - meals served at 12:00 noon

Cresco Senior Center
268 7th Avenue West - Cresco
Open Monday through Friday - meals served at 11:30 a.m.

Denver Meal Site
Denver Public Library - 100 Washington St. Denver
Meals served Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11:45

Lamont Meal Site
644 Bush Street - Lamont
Meals are served each Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Maquoketa Senior Center
1000 E. Quarry Street - Maquoketa
Monday – Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Oelwein Senior Center
25 West Charles - Oelwein
Opening July 21 - Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Meals at 12:00 noon.

Waverly Senior Center
506 E. Bremer  Avenue - Waverly 
Open Monday through Friday - Meals at 11:30 a.m.
